Customer Service Representative

The Eli Cohen Insurance Agency is looking for a customer servicerepresentative to join our team in Brooklyn, NY. Founded in 2010, we specializein auto, home, and all types of business insurance. As a CSR, you will assistwith daily incoming calls, billing, endorsements, and general customer servicefor existing policies. Candidates should have a positive attitude, be able tomultitask, develop relationships with clients, be able to stay organized andmeet deadlines.

General Responsibilities:

  • Inbound phone calls
  • Billing
  • Endorsements
  • General customer service
  • Information gathering and data entry

  • W2 base salary paid bi-weekly plus monthly commissions

Skills and qualifications:

  • 1+ years of career experience in personal/ commercial property and casualty insurance, customer service and policy administration background at an insurance company, wholesale broker, or agency.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, written communication skills, and listening skills
  • Experience working with a CRM such as Salesforce, QQCatalyst, AMS360 is a plus
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Schedule:

Monday-Thursday from 9am-5:30pm.
This is an in- office position. Must be able to commute to Brooklyn, NY.
